The village is known as ancient or FAO according to the local name about 700 km southwest of the city of Riyadh, and about 150 km southeast of Khamasin Valley Dawasir, overlooking the northwestern side of the Empty Quarter at the intersection of Wadi Dawasir junction Tuwaiq mountain range at a gap in the mountain called Al-Faw, located on the old commercial road known as Najran-Aljaraha road.
