Al-Turaif Neighborhood was registered in the Historical Diriyah in the World Heritage List in 2010, after completing a large number of steps and projects that qualified the site for registration. Al-Turaif is home to the most important archaeological buildings, palaces, and historical monuments. It includes the majority of administrative buildings during the first Saudi state, such as the Salwa Palace, which was established in the late 12th century AH.
